Template documentation follows
Note: the template above may sometimes be partially or fully invisible.
Visit Template:MainPage/NewsBox/doc to edit this documentation. (How does this work?)

This template is exclusive to the main page of this wiki, and is not intended to be used in other pages.

This main page section is where we write recent news about the game and everything related to it. This includes every community activity outside the wiki, like interesting fan projects, events and creations (cars and tracks for instance).

The template is displayed by simply adding {{MainPage/NewsBox}}.

Adding news

To add news, do as follows:

  1. Go to the template page and click Edit.
  2. Add ;Month Day, Year (replace Month, Day and Year respectively to the event date)
  3. Write the news.
  4. Add blank spaces at the top and the bottom of the news you added.
  5. Publish your edits.

Removing old news

Notice that in order to not oversize the news column at the main page, the oldest news should be removed. After removing oldest news, don't forget to add them at In the News (Archive) in the respective date order.

The news box should contain approximately three news, but can also contain news of a whole month if those will not oversize the column.
